About Me

Welcome! If you are interested to know the story behind Pet-Rescue Academy, the whys, the whats and the hows, I invite you to continue to read beyond these lines.I have been a dog owner for the last 22 years. Throughout, I had as my best friends a shy Collie, my extraordinary Samoyed, a fun loving X Rottweiler and, currently, the sweetest, smartest German Shepherd. I can still remember the feeling of prideness when, at the age of 9, I'd walk my me-sized doggo at the heel without a lead, and I'd receive the approving smiles of passers-by. The strong relationship I had formed with my childhood dog had always made me want to be a Veterinarian, but adulthood quickly made me understand that I am too much of a softy to withstand the sight of any pet in distress. Alas, I chose another path, though have continued to be surrounded by animals and have always had my heart set on working with dogs (especially puppies 😍). In the spirit of full transparency, it has been a long time coming and I have had to summon a lot of courage to start this journey. I am always looking to improve and I endeavor to keep up to date with the advances in the field of dog training. Ergo, new certificates will start making their appearance on this website. I am motivated purely by my passion to provide bespoke puppy, junior and adult training for your furball 🐕‍🦺🐕🐶. I design the training on a case-specific basis. At Pet-rescue Academy, there is an understanding that there is a vast array of training types and that each individual doggo has their own personality, character, experience. It is imperative that training is designed on a case by case basis. I offer researched solutions, adjust them according to your dog's responsiveness and explain every step of the way.
